Hello, and welcome to my little digital notebook. My name is Briar and I made this site to have a place to collect my thoughts on the books/movies that I enjoy, as well as share some of my creative projects like my art and writing and occasionally share a recipe or two in my cookbook. This website is designed for and best veiwed on a 1920x1080 monitor, but as I learn more about code I hope to edit it to make it acoomodate more screen sizes (but likely never for mobile). I learned to code for the first time ever making this site so please excuse any jankyness or ineficient code sins.

This site is still a work in progress so there's some content I'm working on behind the scenes that isn't ready to be linked in the nav bar, but I feel like all personal sites are always under permanent construction, that's the beauty of them really.
