About Me

Hello! My name is Briar and I'm an artist and writer. I have a background in studying film, post-production, tv-broadcasting, animation, and early childhood education/development. I love to read and talk endlessly about all the books I read, so I made a book review section on this site to get it out of my system. I've been writing as a hobby since I was young and currently conceptualising a few different stories but seriously working on one, which I'll share some details of on here.

I made this website because, like all of you, I miss the old internet of my youth when everyone was able to express themselves through personalizing their pages and sharing the things they cared about without worrying about an algorithim. Like I said on the home page, this site will never be optimised for mobile because I made it specifically to escape my phone and spend less time on small screens disconnecting from the world and more time using big screens mindfully in order to connect.
