About Me

Hello! My name is Briar and I'm an artist and writer. I have a background in studying film, post-production, animation, and early childhood education/development. I love to read/analyse books and I've been writing as a hobby since I was young. I'm currently working on my first manuscript, which I'll share some details of on here along with a couple of other story concepts I'm playing with. I decided to make this website when my boyfriend and I were doing marathons of bad old movies and I wanted somewhere to collect all of them and write my thoughts about my favourites. At first I made a Letterboxd account but immediately got frustrated with all the different apps and accounts I had just to collect memories of my hobbies. I abandoned it pretty much right away and taught myself code making this site so I could have a dedicated space to share my thoughts and passions in a way that felt more authentic than mainstream social media.
